Decisions
I come to a point in my walk of life
do I go left or right
How is one to decide
neither road with an answer in sight
I know what I need and desire
neither has ever been a secret
Vocally both are expressed
but in the end its always a forfeit
I have to weigh
what I can live without
Give and take
is what life is all about
I just don't feel
it is too much to ask
to be shown that I'm thought of
should not be such a great task
I try every day
to reveal my heart
This I have done
from the very start
I leave you messages
letting you know of my love
Yet no acknowledgement
what your thinking of
My expectations are none
My needs are really quite few
I just need to be shown
that I'm loved and thought of by you
This horse I have beat
until now it's quite dead
Your love I need
it has become my daily bread
It is so hard
when I hunger for all of you
In return I'm given but a crumb
I'm left not knowing what to do
So I sit and wonder
which road I am to trod
I guess this one is best left
in the hands of God
