Set Your Clocks Back

Tonight daylight savings time ends
Soon the winter season will begin
Be sure to set all your clocks back
Then your schedule will be on track

The days will continue to get shorter
Until they eventually become longer
Winter days may be cold and drear
But soon spring again will be here

Seasonal changes happen in our life
Through our painful trials and strife
Even in our deepest grief and sorrow
There is always hope for tomorrow

When you know Jesus as your Friend
He will always be with you to the end
There is never a burden He cannot bear
Just bring all your cares to Him in prayer

How will we spend that extra hour tonight
We need sleep to be able to function right
But what about using it to meet with God
Wherever we are at on the journey we trod

Perhaps your life right now is way off track
You have made bad choices and fallen back
God's love and forgiveness He freely gives
To all who will open their heart and believe
