Who I Am
i am but a shadow of who i once was a small speck yet i know what life is where it came from where it goes for i have met myself crossed the chasm with me i have become one with the purpose of who i am i look upon this world and see the strife the confusion i watch as others grapple with life fearing to see more observing the shifting of blame from one to another i have become one with the purpose of who i am there are no saviors to what we have created never will be we are our own salvation should we dare to look at ourselves see what we have done see where we should advance to i have become one with the purpose of who i am change is difficult to make yet change develops survivors giving one the chance to carry on and become a legacy a legacy of what there can be if only we take the leap forward i have become one with the purpose of who i am Vote for this poem
