Reflections of My Heart
A Mother's Single Kiss ღ KKD ღ
A Mother's Single Kiss
There was a time
when you were very small
With every bump and scrape
a single kiss would heal them all
Yet today I stand so powerless
to ease your horrid pain
A simple hug and kiss
wont bring her back again
There is nothing I can do
that will replace what is now gone
Except to catch each tear you shed
and be here for you to lean upon
Our memories will sustain
her name my heart will whisper
This precious little one
we will hold dearly forever
I fall on bended knee
asking God to lend a hand
to help me find a way...
to help us understand
How is it that as your Mother
I have not the words or deed
I know A Mother's Single Kiss
will not soothe your painful needs
Too soon gone from
those who love her so.
