Heroes All
To each and every veteran of our great nation;
We wish to say thank you for your dedication.
World War, Korea, Vietnam, or the Gulf Wars;
You have kept freedom ringing from our shores.
Too many lost their life, too many dismembered;
We stop to honor you today, and to remember.
For the sacrifice of years, of limb, of your very life;
Heroes all, protecting us from the enemies knife.
Let freedom bells ring in our cities and in our towns;
The gratitude of your nation is your eternal crown.
Stand tall, our Veteran's, stand proud so we can say;
Thanks to every one of you on this Veteran's Day.
Let us honor the ones who no longer walk this earth;
To those who knew the high price, who knew its worth.
Count off with pride those who have served this day;
Heroes all; to you a loud and hardy hip-hip-hooray.
