Blessed is He that is persecuted for My name sake
The evidence of being a true believer attacks against
your faith will be made
Some friends and family will ultimately shun you
Because their mind on the word of God hasn't been renewed
Being a lover of the world a carnal mind still continues
A Christian need not take it personal for it's the Jesus in you
My heart aches cause the ones I love most reject Him too
They say they believe yet the things of this world still consumes
I can not and will not apologize for the new me
It was the washing of the word making me unique
I've been called the matriarch of the family
Yet unless prayer is needed the gospel they're not seeking
I'm told all I want to talk about is God
Being accused of shoving it down their throat
wasn't my intentions at all
It's being aware of the signs of the times and my call
Knowing evil forces are gaining power on the still carnal
As it is written even satan and demons believe
The belief needed for salvation is to abide to conceive
For Jesus said;If you're not for Me you're against Me
If you're not helping to gather then you're scattering
Being a manpleaser can keep you from your destiny
There will be naysayers galore including your family
It's God's favor and approval we should seek
I just want to hear "Well done good and faithful servant"
when Jesus speaks to me
It is written "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so"
Without the gospel engrafted Jesus they'll never know
All mankind is called to be disciples of Him
The root word of "disciple" is "discipline"
The truth is, the beginning of wisdom is to have the fear of God
The word "fear" means here "reverance" above all
Unless we love God more than anyone or anything
The bible says we're to also take up our cross to be worthy of Him
(Matt.10:37-38)
It was reading The Word that caused me to fall in love with Jesus
It is surrendering our life to Him (the truth) His Will that frees us
The things of this world I now count as dung
Along with my sins on the cross they've been hung
For to be a lover of this world is an enemy of God
My treasures are in heaven seeking His glory to come
What my loved ones fail to see alone I stand in the gap
Praying and pleading the blood of Jesus against satan's mishaps
The scripture the Lord shown a light upon when calling me into the ministry...
Mark 6:4 "But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour,
but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house."
Is ringing out as i am shunned with spiritual ears and eyes open to see
There's a truth in a saying;"Unless you stand for something,
you'll fall for anything.

for a Christian is the bride of Christ)

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
