Rebuking for Indifference
The One who is faithful and true,
Will be coming soon to judge you;
The sole source of all creation,
Searches for an explanation.
Because He knows what you have done,
On the victory He had won;
Since you are being way too bold,
And neither are you hot or cold.
He wishes that you were cold or hot,
But either one you are just not;
Rather you are only lukewarm,
Like an unpredictable storm.
From out of His mouth He will spew,
With gnashing of teeth He will chew;
So foul trying to devour,
Because of your taste is sour,
You may think that you have good health,
And in having substantial wealth;
But you are naked poor and blind,
Since love is not in heart and mind.
Christ disciplines each one He loves,
But not the greedy and who shoves;
So change the way you think and act,
To be unified within His pact.
