s'lebs

they're in those magazines
that nobody admits to buying
other than reading on the shelf
and then maybe just once trying
they are famous for being famous
and not for much else to be honest
and when it comes to intellect
some don't seem so overly blessed

and they seem to have fought
and clawed their places there
and so long as they get the fame
they just don't seem to care
and nothing seems sacred
or no act of theirs too trite
to be published
to titillate and delight

so they lives their lives in public
and give a vicarious pleasure
to a certain type of person who
reads about them in their leisure
it seems such a waste of energy
such a waste of chopped down trees
to have such behaviour flaunted
in so called magazines like these
