who wanna give up the fight,
and though you may stumble and fall
you'll find a fit that's right....
He thinks of her with that smile
that lit up the room with ease,
she had her own special style
of knowing just how to tease.
Now she's with someone new
if he could just go back in time,
and what he did wrong he would undo
but he's destined to pay for his crime.
He gave his all to her long ago
but she wanted something
he couldn't give,
she wanted fancy clothes
and things for show
and him with no riches
she couldn't forgive.
She never took the time
to smell 1 single rose
that she passed along the way,
she only cared about those fancy clothes
that would make her happy night&day...
If loving someone too much is wrong
then there's no sense in living,
just where on earth does love belong
when there's more taking than giving?
