 My Special Memories
(This is dedicated to my in-laws Mom and Dad Gleason)
I remember my vacations
The good times that I had
Spending time with Linda
And good ole “Hoss” George Dad
Their doors were always open
They never kept them locked
I'd listen to Dad's stories
And boy he loved to talk
They made me feel so welcome
They did it from the start
And though they didn't know me
They gave me both their hearts
They made me feel like family
I knew that I was loved
The times that I would spend there
Were never long enough
George Dad was big and gentle
He had a heart of gold
And mom she was a blessing
I always felt at home
And though they're now in heaven
We're not that far apart
Cuz they are in my memories
I keep them in my heart
I miss all those vacations
The good times that I had
Spending precious moments
With Linda Mom and Dad
