The waiting game...
There are no rules -
this game for fools
and waiting is the state...
Without a voice -
without a choice -
our last and final fate...
Along the way
we try to play -
inside the moment's light...
We dance - we dream -
we plan - we scheme -
far away from night...
We are a sneeze
within a wheeze -
a fragment of a dance...
A tiny sigh -
a tear - a cry -
a glimmer of a glance...
Although we know
we have to go -
we slowly take the gold...
Inside the shine
where all is fine -
and for a moment - hold...
Once warm and new -
without a clue -
and safe within a womb...
We now - but wait -
our final fate -
that is within a tomb...
