Our Part
As the world plunge deeper into this economic morass
The plight of most of us seem to be drifting, to a point of being hopeless
This has spread and now reach, pandemic proportion
And those doctors and researchers, are very tardy with a working medication.
Perhaps we as the people can take some of the blame
As some of our extravagant tastes we failed to contain
Spending money on things not necessary, but only to flaunt
But catering to those needs, we conveniently wouldn't.
Some of us also have a perception, that a goverment
That to us despite what, it should always be benevolent
Picturing it, to have an inexhaustible supply of money
Even it too, is facing some form of financial deficulty.
Then those politician too, in their quest to capture that vote
Made promises to make it good for you, this is what they promote
But as you will see by now, that was not binding
As they are hardly the solution, but part of the problem.
In some contries they have little or no remorse
When they made it easy for many of their work to outsource
Now they will see the hard way, the results of what they were promising
As now into the unemployment line many people are now heading.
What will be requred to stem the tide, that is the enigma
It will take strength, resilience and a strong mind's power
Take a very hard look, plan and make some very serious adjustments
Also make time to laugh and find some form of enjoyment.
