Poetic Verses

Life is Tough

Perhaps you may have worked in all the departments of the corporation
Acquiring experience, being well qualified  and privy to vital information
Having the permission to make some very important decisions
That may have in impact on the lfe and the institution's directions.

You have spent there many years in the interim, alot of workers you have trained
Some gone away, and other some form of contact is still maintained
Ocassionally meeting and discussing about any updated information
That can be instituted, and also for the overall state of the profession.

In  the company you were always respected and the preferred man
Who was given the important responsibilty, of drafting that strategic plan.
Being proactive, you had that foresight and always that type of information
That always make sure the corporation, is always ahead of the competition.

Then suprisingly, one day your phone kept ringing off the wall.
The caller seemed so desperate, like they want to make sure you got that call.
It was only the CEO, who wanted to tell you that on the next working day
That you will have to train some people, as you were reputed to be the best there.

As agreed because of your gregarious nature, and lover of training
But when you saw the batch, something in your mind kept nagging
Not like your regular groups, these ones  all appeared quite different.
Why would they give you a batch, that all came from the orient.

Not satisfied, you had to search for and hopefully get some answers
So as luck will have it, you were able to corner and questioned one of the managers.
Who seemed so happy as he told you that lots of the work will be outsource
And that the bacth of trainees, all belong to that new work force.

And furthermore, your job is one who will be in that department
So in essence, you have to now train those who are your replacement.
This to you, I know will bring  to you no measure of enjoyment.
But if you refuse, remember who is paying your benefits and severence payment.
