We Never Say Goodbye ღ KKD ღ
We Never Say Goodbye
That dreaded time
is too rapidly approaching
Just the thought of your absence
oh the tears are freely falling
The joy you bring
when close by my side
Yet when absent
life is a difficult stride
The life we share
is so precious to me
Time spent away
is such a waste to see
In your absence
life is so unkind
My reason is gone
to happiness I'm blind
I try so hard to focus
on what lies ahead
While each approaching day
is met with such dread
I cling to each moment shared
each comforting hug and sweet kiss
But it is your very presence
that I so painfully miss.
Until next time
my tears will fall like rain
Knowing each and every day
I will suffer the missing you pain
So for now it is but a see you later
mixed with tears that I cry
I pray to my Heavenly Father above
we never say Good bye

ღ From the day I let you go
until we say our next hello
