Come Back to Life
To state Christ came back from the dead,
Then you would say no way instead;
You think the dead never come back,
The substance of a tale would lack.
But your faith just has no meaning,
Because your heart needs some cleaning;
Too many witnesses testified,
For to say that they all have lied.
If the dead not return is true,
Then expect the same thing for you;
For if the truth is not within,
Then all of the witnesses sin.
For Christ is our only hope,
Throughout this life that we can cope;
And though it sounds a bit complex,
As faith prepares us for the next.
If my faith would ever deceive,
Then merriment let us receive;
Eat and get drunk if I do lie;
For tomorrow we will all die.
Just come back with the point of view,
And stop doing what deceives you;
Ignoring God will be your shame,
Having no faith as I proclaim.
