A Joyful ThanksgivingTime for celebration, In having salvation; And not to be ignored, Giving praise to the Lord. At that time you will say, Truly this is the day; Thank the Lord and be glad, Not the time to be sad. Although I strayed of the path, I was spared from the wrath; Because mercy and grace, Has brought me to His place. He knows I changed my course, Since He saw my remorse; And all is forgiven, For entering Heaven. For He is my Savior, Who I love and adore; Giving me liberty, From what made me guilty. So I will sing a song, As I bid earth so long; And lifting up my voice, Extending my rejoice. Copyright © 2010 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
