 Through Whiskers Gray
A Knight of sorts upon a time
A man once boy inside still finds
A piece still left inside of him
A better part, partnered within

Many a year brown eyes have seen
None of service yet still he dreams
Of one more chance to fulfill them
Held back as time has passed by him

Of chivalry and better days
Tomorrows yet and yesterdays
Still hang upon a faint hearts door
Where soul does call to him implores

Though gray we are we still are here
To ride again, just not appear
To be happy not just content
To love unlike, breathe Heavens scent

Through whiskers gray her kiss still stays
Reminding still and that always
She holds you close with hope you see
That her soul feels what yours decrees

Long life ahead with more to come
To build upon a new kingdom
Where loves embrace holds true each day
Held by the things today both say

Through whiskers gray still felt are fingers
Both soft and long and warmth that lingers
Upon you when the cold wind blows
Believe with patience, in this too know

Though gray becomes all that you are
You're still the man both near and far
That won her heart, slaying Dragons
Through whiskers gray, in this lifetime to have in

Old Knight Pictures, Images and Photos
