Pebbles On The Water, Ripples On The Sea...

A Tidal Wave On The Ocean...
**********************
It takes one pebble on the water, to create a ripple on the sea,
And that turns into a tidal wave on the ocean as far as you can see.
Cos that little pebble can make a difference in someone's life,
From being unhappy in poverty, and very sad - in strife.
And I found this out last night, and though it may not seem a lot,
I had an email off a very kind lady, to tell me what she'd got!
She said she has a beautiful item – and she's never had one in her life,
This is the very first beautiful ‘anything' she's had in all of her strife.

Not the item itself, but she's never had ‘anything' beautiful before.
She told me she is delighted with it, and I wish she could have more!
So anyway I did what I did, and what an amazing affect it's had!
I can't get over it, I'm in shock, cos so many people are glad
Now since its the season of goodwill, Christmas time once more,
I decided to do something decent cos I really know the score.
And I am told that a lot of females out there wouldn't get a present,
This Christmas time, and I was upset, over what I had spent.

Because in today's society, no jobs are about out there,
So people live in poverty and sadness feeling life's unfair.
So I did what I did and have no regrets, nope, not one jot!
And shared out the items that I had...and trust me, it was a lot!
Now I didn't think it was much that I did, in total honesty, it's true,
Until I did the deed and then the people told me, ‘this is down to you!'
Mostly fella's came to my home and collected what I had,
Told me that their partners would benefit and they were so very glad.

Now to me it was only jewellery, but I had a lot of guilt about it all,
For having so much, when some have none; and now I'm 10ft tall!
Cos I gave it all away for free, and people came in droves,
Saying their wives and girls had nothing, and that's life I suppose.
But I knew I could do something about it - so, ok, maybe only a bit,
And that ‘bit' I did makes me smile, and on my conscience no more will sit.
And for people to tell me that - it made them feel so much better,
Cos it helped to bring a smile for Christmas, it must be Santa's letter?

I think I'll write some more letters to Santa, for next Christmas time,
And maybe help out in silence again, and make someone feel fine!
For if I am told what I did, made just one person smile,
Then I think I did good that day? And next time I'll go that extra mile!
Meanwhile to those who don't have much, never give up hope, not ever,
Cos one day the sun will shine on you, and light your life forever!
Now I don't have much money, no way, in fact, I've not got any,
But Christmas for me will still be great, without a single penny!

Cos some people have less than that even, that is what I've found...
So share a little, and give a lot, but pass that smile around!

Tis the season of good will...smile, it makes a chain!
Pass it round the world, and see it come back again!

My Motto...Don't Quit!!!
