Dedicate Your Lives to God
No longer let yourself conform,
To emotions that are a storm;
Causing you torment and strife,
Through remaining years of this life.
In view of all we have to share,
You should go to the Lord in prayer;
For His kindness and compassion,
Will help you through any action.
I encourage you be like Christ,
And your body be sacrificed;
Dedicated in pleasing God,
As you worship honor and laud.
Do not be like people of earth,
Having this playfulness and mirth;
Entertaining all their pleasures,
As they lust after their treasures.
Change the way how your mind does think,
Since this world causes it to shrink;
As your mind starts to go asleep,
And you wander like a lost sheep.
What God wants you will understand,
And not standing on sinking sand;
What is good pleasing and perfect,
So you and the Lord can connect.
