THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY (Sonnet)

You never saw the rest of my story
It was all empty there was no glory
I was in such deep emotional pain
The agony was driving me insane
Wallowing to myself it will be fine
Everything will soon again be divine
The tunnell will have a spark something bright
I will look at this moment to see right
I will have to turn over a new leaf
I let you take over you was my theif
Now i have a story and a clean page
You cry at your mistake and the outrage
I slipped through your fingers was your story
When we could have had a life of Glory
