The kindness
To show
Those who
Cross my path
Each day,
And yet…
At the same
Time,
I have the
Stories
Of the other
World,
Literary
Children I have
Yet to bear,
Since I will
Leave no
Human ones
Behind.
Can I live
With just
My poetic
Children
To survive me
Because it
Is all the time
I have today
To leave
Behind
Anything
I have to give
For all my
Tomorrows?
I am torn
Between going
Back to Illandria
And finishing
My great quest
There,
In favor of
What needs
To be done
Today,
And the day
After that.
I know
No one
Will accuse me
Of being lazy
In this life,
But I am
Also torn
With leaving
My stories
Unfinished
Beloved.
Amazonia,
The first story,
The one that
Took me
Out of
My body
Flying over
The jungle
Valley.
Illandria,
Where I took
Friends to
Another world
And I can
Literally
Feel that
Completing
The story
Affects the lives
Of others
Not of this
World,
And yet
That it can
On some
Future
Possible timeline.
Yet…
There is
SO much
To do!
Not there,
But here.
I am in
Both places
At once.
Beloved
I hope
I can do it
All.
But until
The final curtain
Falls,
And I know
With certainty
I did
All that I could,
I feel
Torn.
