From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
None Compared

Bartender, my cup's empty
Where you at with my refill
I need it quick, fast, in a hurry
Coming fast are those memories
Escape a necessity
To my dreams please….better yet fantasy
Anyone else wish for sleep
To escape their nightmares?

Deep breaths
Where am I and what is this
That sparkle; that gleam
Why is it something that I feen
Those gems
Someone fetched from a stream
Diamonds through Coals they found
Why do ppl look around
When I gaze into those long stares

Sometimes I wonder
How do I get over you
If it was me you were never under
Someone I'll always forget
Yet always remember
Like that one rose
From last, last December
Is it bad of me
To think of us as the perfect pair

Can you imagine us
With all the glitz and glamour
The power we exude
No one'd believe the conditions that preluded
The events in our lives
That brought us together
Yet we survove…I mean survived
Our chance in heavenly eternity revived
Others could certainly relate
But no other could ever compare
