SNOWFALL
An elegant cascade
To light up a path
Sweeping on the breeze
An icy aftermath
Winters festive parade
Arms folded with shivers
Coldness that's bracing
Spine tingling quivers
Branches adorned
With spangled chandeliers
Perilous icicles
Holding sharp pointed spears
Fountains paused in time
Birds can't find a crumb
The beat of the church clock
Thuds deep like a drum
Snowdrifts in hedgerows
Berries that gleam
Silent the day
Thoughts that are dreams
