Life's Twist
Two youngsters at different ends on the scale of the financial spectrum.
Were running around on their respective ground, playing in the sun
The richer was there surrounded with many toys all on displayed
Whilst the poorer was engaging himself happily with the ones he made.
The sound of his laughter so happy, reached the ears of the other boy
Who decided to go over and join him, enjoy himself as well and share his toy
He then hurried outside, and rushed over so happyly to play
But just before he began, his mother very quickly called him away.
When he retured home angry and questioned the reason
For being called away, as he had no other one
To play with, he wanted to make a friend. which is so satifying
And also plying alone and with those toys were just too boring.
His mother then ordered him to stay and home
Going over to that poor boy's home is something she will not condone
Remember you are in a different social class.Her son, however, took every opportunity
When available to go over and play with he new friend, and quite happily.
Time went by and as usual, little boys will grow into young men
But some never forget the manner in which people treat them
Both of them studied and were both successful in their respective profession
The pooer lad became one who was well sought after in his area of specialisation
It was not too long after the rich lady fell seriously sick
Her son went to his friend frantic, seemingly at the end of his wits
Saying " My mother is ill I am so desperate, kindly pay her a visit.
I am sure you will find some way to diagnose this ailment so enigmatic.
As he entered her room realization and alarm came to her eyes
She is now depending on the skills of the person she once despised
Now she understand one thing in life, it is not where ones journey begins
It is the path taken and the choices made, that determines where it ends.
