Living out a Noble LifeSounds funny but is true, With marriage as a virtue; No commandment of the Lord, On virgins loved and adored. For marriage is not a sin, To one that is a virgin; Neither is someone divorced, It can be godly endorsed. Time has shortened what will last, And it will start to move fast; With marriage the second time, But neither has done a crime. Once filled with tears of sorrow, Makes one think no tomorrow; But divorce stays in the past, For the future must outlast. Tears of sorrow turn to joy, Fading the past to destroy; Memories that made you sad, With new ones to make you glad. You are concerned of the things, That the past and future brings; Just live out a noble life, No matter how bad the strife. Copyright © 2010 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
