Something Different
How about doing something different this christmas
Avoid getting in all that hype and spending rush and fuss
But take that time to do some form of self determine audit
Or not to be biased, give someone else the right to do it.
Since there will be a sort of easing of the work pressures
It will present the chance for really take those types of measures
Accept what is said, in the true spirit of the season
As this my direct your path into a different and worthwile direction.
On that day take the family into the peace and tranquility of the garden
Saying there is where you all are going to be spending the early morning
For once, you all will avoid the lures and dependence on modern technology
Would just sit and talk and even play, in what is free and comes quite naturally.
Now not having their eyes fixed on the cable TV, or lazing in the cool air-condition
Then take that time to engage into some thought provoking and stimulating converstaion
Arrange it, so that all will have an oportunity to make a contribution
This will demonstrate that strength and magnitude of the family's union.
Perhaps this will bring to you all some joy, in this type of intitative
Because these days how many families seem to be so united
As they are in the same house separated and caught up in the technology
That they is hardly much precious time, to be together collectively.
Take note of the younger ones and their newer perspective and ideas
They are the ones who will be taking over the mantle some day
Recognise that their hopes and axpirations, will be some what different
As they in their quests may face a world, enshrined in a fierce and competitive environment.
When lots of topics have been discussed and lots of areas satisfactorily ventilated
Be thankful for your collective achievments, all very well appreciated
However in the midst of the celebration, look at the coming year
Do not all that energy and focus, get buried in that spiritful cheer.
