Though distant has become of warm caresses
I love you no less
There is need for them today
Hold me for just awhile
Till I slumber and dream of better days
For without you Querida, empty will
stay what was fulfillment
I understand the point of not being where we
were but where I need to be
Heartfelt circumstances have become the worse
of us, but a better me will rise from cindered remains
A heart on fire can rage out of control
yet love unlike no other
This was the arson committed by me upon a
heart scented of you
Today it's embers flicker, reminding me
there are second chances
Carefully I will blow upon it to rekindle
loves flame
and that Querida, is you
However small my heart feels this day,
it is where I find you
