Poetry For Everyday People
In A Flash
The fix is in,
I bought a dream
last night,
between wine
and god,
I blew a candle out
and their was night,
I can talk in my head
without making a sound,
I don't know
how many
I love you's
I thought
and never said
for one reason
or another,
you hold it in
for a second:
a life time
crawls past.
I bought a dream
last night,
between wine
and god,
I blew a candle out
and their was night,
I can talk in my head
without making a sound,
I don't know
how many
I love you's
I thought
and never said
for one reason
or another,
you hold it in
for a second:
a life time
crawls past.
