Time to Repair
This news have been ringing in the ears for may year
The increase in crime, its severity is causing many fears
But what seems to be cause for concern in these matters
It is the young able bodies men, who are the main perpetators.
For those who may think that it not their problem
Be careful this callous approach will be of nothing to them
Because as long as they are alive on this earth's land
There is that possibility of becoming potential victim.
It is time to take a rest and look hard, long and strong
And try to analyse as a people, where did we go wrong
Have we become so engrossed in self, and adopted some selfish ways
So could not for a moment extend that hand, in a manner that cares.
Have we decided to abandon that form of unyielding training
That our parents, in their time on us was instilling
But as time progressed, and we too ourselves, become parents
Sort of abandoned this. but did not enforced anything in any extent.
There are others who think that it is even better
To make sure or extend themselves to give them all they desire
Whether it be within their financial means to obtain, these things
Not stopping to think, the type of message this behaviour brings.
Now if we as parents, keep cultivating and fertilising this behaviour.
Then we are inplanting in their minds, a certain sort of culture
Therefore when they clasp their eyes on something they desire
Would then go to any lengths, to ensure it that they acquire.
As human beings, we should always try to be sure we understand
That as far and possible, we all must live only on this land
Therefore let us together, work in a universal parent company
Teaching the youth, making sure that we chart that path to a better society.
