 QUIETNESS

Alone
In the quarry of quietness

Albeit
The form of wind

Wafting
Through a sightless wave

Surging
Over me

Making me listless

Making me hungry

For quieter times
Are the best

Grazing upon the empty void
Where once ran blood
And now arteries silenced
