A piece of me is with you dad (r.i.p)
I miss dad so much
A part of him is always with me
In my memory box i travel
Its my time machine
Its the only device i have to see my dad
Apart from my dreams which are presented wonderfully by the almighty
All of my dreams are peaceful and wonderful
In my memory box i travel back in time
All i remember is beautiful things
He was a steel worker and worked long hard hours, but he always had time for us.
On his one day a week off he'd always take us somewhere special
The beach, or theme park, we'd go on picnics, restaurants and any place we can all be together
Our family bond was so strong as he made such an effort to keep us together
He worked all of his life coz he knew he'd help us even when he is gone
For 36 years he worked with hot lava melting metal and molding cutlery
He was so supportive of everything we all did, but to me he was my goldmine
He encouraged me so much so that i'd never forget his words "you'll only succeed if you try, you will experience rejection, but never give up my princess!
If you give up you'll never see what you set out to achieve so go for what you really feel passionate about!
I know you'll make me proud my sweetheart so never forget what i say to you!
Even when i am gone always remain the same as you are!
You're loved just as you are do not ever change!"

Yes it was only my dad who pushed me to keep doing what i do.
My mom was encouraging, but in a different way to my father he was something special indeed may he rest in peace.
I was so young when he died when he was sick it was God awful to see this.
So traumatic i was adamant in my head he would suffer living any longer when i saw him cry in pain.
I was just a kid and i felt it so hard in my heart like an explosive.
I was daddy's precious little girl it what everyone had told me.
He prayed for me so hard to survive when i was in hospital severely sick and in pain.
He was by my side in the hospital all through the night caring for me all i remember was jumping on him in the middle of the night just to go to the toilet.
He suffered broken sleepless nights over several long weeks.
Most girls are close to their moms, but not me.
When i was 10 i lost a piece of me; it is with him so i still receive his love, i can feel that he feels something and knows things.
My sister also dreamed that he told her to make sure i was ok and making the right decisions in my life in meeting someone i'd fall in love with.
I wish i listened at the time it was my mistake not to listen, but thats how you learn is to make mistakes.
You learn from people who have learned mistakes.

I love him so much when i was sick it was him who was beside me...
He entertained me and he looked after not only me, but all of us.
He had a unique personality which has shined down to all of us.
He was a general all round entertainer which has fallen upon us in a good way and people love us for this.
I am so glad he was my father and i can never wish anything better than this.
I can never forget this in my life ever.
Nor can my mom or any of my family or those whom have been touched in their heart by this wonderful gentleman i am so proud to call my wonderful, beautiful, sweet and kind hearted father.
