REACHING FOR THE SUN


                Poised
                At the bottom of a long flight of stairs
                One step at a time
                Climbing,
                Slowly . . .
                Then,
                The clang of a magical bell . . .
                I sprout wings
                And fly
                To the top of the tower!
                With arms outstretched,
                I stand
                Reaching,
                Smiling and singing,
                
                AS THE SUN MOVES TOWARD ME (:-)
