 Trampled  Pearls
I  bestowed  upon  you, a  most  precious  gift, seems  It's
Value  was  in  my  eyes  alone,  still  It  gave  me  great
Pain, to  see  it  proclaimed, mere  trash  under  your  feet

You  saw  but  the  backside  of  my  tapestry,  I  saw  its
Beauty  from  a  frontal  view, the  gift  that  was  of  great
Worth  to  me, was  trash  trampled,  under  your  feet

Feels  like  the  mourning  of  a  death, in  my  heart
The  gift  no  longer  mine, to  see  it  despised  unloved
And  disdained,  this  pearl, that  once  was  mine.
