 I Know Your Heart

Your state of mind I know my dear
As well your heart and pain that sears
The emptiness that dwells in you
I know of this, I live it too

Sentiment becomes sometimes
The gift unseen by soul mate blind
That does not feel as your soul does
I know quite well of long lost love

The simple touch of a warm hand
A whisper soft your heart demands
A voice to say that they love you
This too I miss and much more too

I'vie watched from far you long to be
Held unto and just like me
Your dreams become the last of things
Someone holds to, long suffering

I wish I could remove your pain
The many days and nights sustained
Upon a heart no one thinks of
The last good thing of yours unloved

Hold I do your sentiment
For I too live with such torment
An empty home to love someone
A broken heart like yours undone

From some distance embrace I will
In arms that wish we could fulfill
Your needs as mine that long to be
Loved unlike eternally

So when you see me know I dwell
Upon this land like you who fell
In love but no one loves you back
Each day living this heart attack
