Deception
The words he spoke were so very descriptive
She was spellbound by his choise and usage of those adjectives
No one has ever spoken before in such glowing terms to her
So of course, she would be captivated and longed for more
Well no disputing, he was one experienced in that art
In no time, he knew full well that he had touched her heart
But planned for completion to take a little longer still
And choose the most opportune time, to move in for the kill.
On those dates, he displayed characteristics of the perfect gentleman
Exhibiting all those traits of such perfect decorum
Demonstrating such social graces,as well as well tuned etiquette
The effect it has on her was one that was so dynamic.
As time prgressed, all those charms were used even more
Her home and workplace, were bombarded with roses by the score
And if to to keep her so consume, those pefumed notes
Added that emphasis, especially in those poetic and romantic words he wrote.
But so encompassed in her time of happiness and joy
She never took time to think, this she never employ
Being so overwhelmed, never took time to level her head
Kept it in the clouds, and all other things appear to be dead.
She seemed to forget that most purile outburst od jealousy
When she one day said hello, to a guy who worked in the same company
His angry was out of control, and to others so scary
Tbis should have alerted her and should had tread cautiously.
A few months later, he popped the question
They were married, this for her was very happy occasion
After the honeymoon, she lived in his mansion on the hill
There she is yet to see a moment of any happiness still.
