An Old Fashioned Christmas Is Dear To My Heart I'd Like To Go Back To The Ages Of Dark When Candlelight Brought Magic To Christmas Days And Love Was The True Gift Of All Holidays When Carols Were Sung As Stockings Were Hung And Merriment Could be Heard From Miles Around When Neighbors Would Visit With Home Baked Goods Sleighing Down Snow Paths Through The Woods Sleigh Bells Ringing As They Trod Along With Children Laughing And Singing In Song Excitement Flowing In Their Merry Heads As They Wait For Santa Hiding Under Their Beds Pretending To Be Asleep Without Making A Peep As Down The Chimney Santa Would Pretend He Came Then Fly Away Over Tree Tops To Honor His Name But The Best Gift Of all Was In Celebrating Jesus Birth As God And His Angels Delivered Baby Jesus To Earth
