Rewinding Romance
Like child you run seeking to catch
A glimpse of her along the path
Where once upon a time came true
No fairy tale or Ruby shoes
She was all things and hair of Gold
Launched feelings to heights untold
And just like that she came to go
Now what keeps are things of old
You lose yourself along the way
Course you plot but also stray
For there was where all things were good
There the child turned man once stood
Her scent lingers upon fingers
Sweet fragrance breathed today will bring her
If just in thought in mind she plays
This episode welcomed replayed
No regrets for here you sit
Gazing beauty by candle lit
Warm her glow where eyes hers Blue
Have come again, staring at you
Aura hers ignites the room
Soft it's light, hair you groom
Gently, fingers yours now comb
Locks to have, called ones own
This moment yours was brought to you
By sponsored thoughts each held true
And by her, poetess held
In this write, written to tell
You'll play these thoughts, rewind again
Love story not of pretend
