Future
He took a hold of her hand
And sweetly kissed her palm
Vulnerable to his allure
She gives without a qualm
She fell into love's trance
In him devotion filled
And in each other lost
Every part that faith instilled
He said "God's in us, I know"
In gratitude offering give
Stronghold their foundation
For one another live
He took a hold of her heart
And never once let go
She gladly gives everything
To make complete and whole
And on one summer's night
July seventeen twenty ten
He asked her to become his wife
She said ‘yes' right there and then
Engaged now to be married
Loves' truths in their life
This honourable man she clings
Unto him…. his future wife
