To all who suffer this holiday season
and don't know which way to turn,
a tiny babe's birth is the reason
there is a lesson to learn.
Sometimes you get weak and heavy laden
and you feel you can't go on,
to despair don't give in
for it's darkest before the dawn.
Christmas is a time for peace
when hope touches you and takes control,
the darkness will fade and cease
