IN A TOWN CALLED BETHLEHEM
Oh Bethlehem not great by far, what
An honor it must have been, to see
God clothed in human flesh, to
Save a world of troubled men
Oh Bethlehem on the eve of his
Birth, might a song still be heard, of
Heavenly voices giving praise for the
Birth of the living word
Oh Bethlehem little tiny town, in
A lowly manger, hope was found
Born in you, salvation's plan, the
The dawn of light, for all man.
