His Calling

I am a servant of Christ,
To spread the Good News of God;
Spending much time sacrificed,
To give honor and to laud.

As promised through His prophets,
And written in the Scriptures;
Showing what we inherit,
What of the Good News features.

This Good News is of the Son,
Who is the Lord and Savior;
All about what He had done,
Within His human nature.

A descendent of a king,
While in His human form;
And declaration to bring,
For the people to transform.

In His spiritual nature,
Said He was the Son of God;
And we as a new creature,
If you are cleansed where flawed.

Shown in a mighty way,
As He had come back to life;
So if we no longer stray,
We are free of sinful strife.
