The Test of Obedience
I have been led to the faith testing alter
of sacrifice,and have been given the chance
to humbly obey the holy commandments of my Lord.
But with fiery darts the devil quarrels with my
heart,mind and soul over what course of action
I should take,and asks whom will I serve.
In answer to this question I take my stand upon the
solid rock of faith,and without hesitation take my
dagger with eyes turned heavenward and plunge it into
the satisfying waters of humble obedience to my Lord.
