Grey they say is a dull colour
A sign of nothingness
A vague truth
Maybe…
But it was on a day
That grey clouds hanged
Over a society like ours
Small specs and larger specs
Of lifelike insects
Like bacteria moving in
Sporadic locations
Like a dented compass
It was upon this day
A single snowflake fell
From the sky
And smashed upon the cold
Ground below,
Never to rise again ....
