FIRST BREATH OF CHRISTMAS

White flakes fall from the sky
Tossed about in a soft gentle breeze
Swaying of a wind blown tree, a babies cry
First flakes melting on fallen leaves
There is silence all around
And soon there is white in mounds
What is that I hear child's sounds?
First a baby snowman, then Mom and Dad
The day they melt will be so sad
The first breath of Christmas has arrived
Tonight Santa's Sleigh on roof will have dived
Next week a rush to the Mall
But for now Jolly St Nick Merry x-mas to all
And the first breath of Christmas begun
Two days from now we pray for the Sun
