 White Christmas
A gentle snow is falling on Christmas night;
Mixed in are ice crystals sparkling in the light.
Watching the snow whitewash the landscape;
It is a white Christmas, a wonderful escape.
Nowhere to go, no place to be; timelessness;
Mother Nature drapes creation in a white dress.
I sit with a mug of hot chocolate and stare;
It is a white Christmas, I wish I could share.
Beautiful snowflakes falling in slow motion;
Bringing me the present of a loving emotion.
Joy shouts silently, reverberating in my heart;
As it is a white Christmas, a true work of art.
Peace drifts down to earth with each frozen flake;
A smile is born from this moment as I do partake.
Warmth in my soul bubbles out, bringing me joy;
It is a white Christmas, making me a happy boy.
