Love Means Listening

Live in a spiritual nature,
In Christ you are a new creature;
Then never follow what corrupts,
As evil desire erupts.

So what your corrupt nature lusts,
Not as spiritual nature trusts;
There is a conflict of the two,
Will always be confusing you.

Which means you do not always do,
Of what you had intended to;
Which will take you down the wrong path,
Eventually feeling His wrath.

God ensures that His discipline,
That will show the wrong from your sin;
So remember to stay awake,
Trust in God never to forsake.

Let spiritual traits be your guide,
And His Spirit within abide;
Not to be subject to the laws,
That Moses had that made the flaws.

The spiritual nature makes love,
Which constantly flows from above;
And the love you hold deep inside,
Helps you to listen and abide.
