I Have Been There
There, where only breath yours drawn
I held unto mine just to listen
In what little light there was, I
was always near
My journey to you, took long, weathering
storms that had no remorse for sentiment
Alone became much a part of me
As loneliness needs company
I became much it's friend
We dance with our
shadow imagining you here..
Imagining me there
Your scent still lingers and held to
If you looked into my eyes, chapters of
us were scribed and yet to be written
I have loved you forever and today
will no less
For I have been there
and care to be nowhere else
