Poetic Verses
Always Change
Those beautiful blossoms on the trees
Such an attraction for the birds and bees
After polination will someday become a succulent fruit
Whilst some of them will take an unfortunate route
See that lovely rose in such a beautiful bloom
Colour so intense, but that will soon
Fade away with the passage of time
And it will soon fade away from the mind.
It is a joy to watch the little children as they play
Time will go by, and they will be the adults of the day
Some may take over the helm in all the areas of the nation
Whilst others of them may go in an entirely different direction.
But don't sit observing them and go that way to stereotype
Look at them, and draw from you experience, of foresight
Use that knowledge that was amassed from your living history
Employing worthwhile anecdotes, to get over an important story.
Take a look at those ladies in the beauty parade
Before too long all of that will begin to fade
Some may still show remnants, of what used to be
While others would have a tranformation totally.
But remember when looking at that frail old man
Who has give much of this time and attention to the land
Perhaps his many contributions, have gone unsung
But we will praise any promises made by a politician.
But we all should take note and come to grip
That all things will go through changes and in age will strip
So if we must being human understand we have to age
There is nothing more important like keeping the mind on today's page
