Drugs are bad,
Everyone no matter
Their shape,
Size or color,
Is beautiful,
I don't want
To fight,
Get over it,
The world
Isn't enough,
Be yourself,
Don't follow
The crowd,
Everyone has
A voice,
…
I don't know
That no one
Listens to me,
But I do know
That many
Have selective
Hearing…
Their ears
May register
The sound
Waves,
But they crash
On a deaf shore
Of understanding.
If I could distill
All of my life
Into one short
Clip,
It would be
This,
The Divine
Wants to be
In an interactive
Relationship
With you,
A loving
One.
So many
Have been burned
By controlling
Religious dogma
That they have
Come to hate
And reject
Anything
Resembling
God,
Allah,
Or the figures
Of the Bible.
I am not
Speaking about
The constructs
Of men.
I am talking
About Love.
And sometimes
I feel because
Others have been
Hurt by the bigotry
And cruel judgments
Of churches,
Families,
And so called
Friends…
No one listens to
What I have
To say…
That they are
Loved unconditionally,
By the Divine.
