Deceit DisavowedI never have been discouraged, By someone that has acknowledged; Of knowing a bit more than me, Knowing that it is possibly. Even though I have learned a lot, But I am definitely not; By far the smartest man alive, My wisdom will always survive. God has given from His Kingdom, Through His mercy of this wisdom; That helps me through both day and night, Which opens my eyes with insight. I would never be so uncouth, To consider in twisting the truth; I refuse to use a shameful way, That would cause another to stray. I surely hope that you can see, The message is not about me; Rather on Christ and His Good News, That He already paid your dues. So do not let it be ignored, About Jesus Christ as the Lord; And as servants never mistake, Because He will never forsake. Copyright © 2010 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
